Characteristics
A newly described species. Psilocybe weilii was first reported in Cherokee County, Georgia in 1995. P. weilii is described as growing in red-clay soils covered with a thin layer of loblolly pine needles underneath sweetgum trees. It has also been reported growing in association with Bermuda grass lawns. |
